Two sites. One powerful immune response.
We develop bispecific/multispecific antibodies combining tumor targeting with tumor microenvironment-anchored costimulation allowing for precise and sustained immunotherapy of solid tumors.
Science & platform
We are a clinical-stage immuno-oncology company developing strategies to provide the two signals needed for full-blown T cell immunity – activation and costimulation. Our approach integrates these signals where they are needed: in the tumor and its microenvironment (TME).
Signal 1
Ignition by tumor targeting
Signal 2
Boost by targeting TME
Result
Tumor elimination
- Higher specificity, fewer side effects
- Sustained immune response, no exhaustion
- Improving access to tumor site, overcoming immunosuppression by TME
Why both signals
Tumor targeting is the ignition, but without a costimulatory boost no sustained immune response is launched. We provide the costimulation needed to drive a robust immune response — precisely where it matters most: in the TME.
- A clinical-stage platform Our CD3-based Signal 1 programs are evaluated in various Phase I trials. BiCo-3, our lead Signal 2 candidate, is entering the first-in-human trial.
- One costimulus, multiple Signal 1 partners We pair our TME-anchored BiCos with our T cell engagers (TCEs) and peptide cancer vaccines.
- Partnering Beyond developing own programs, BiCos can be combined with vaccines and TCEs of partners.
